In this course, you will learn how to setup a Facebook account exclusively for business use to promote your brand, showcase your events and offer special promotions to your customer base. You will learn how to use Facebook to meet your business goals by engaging your audience with thoughtful, consistent and timely content, by posting promotional offers,  and how to track your performance and analytics through Facebook “Page Insights.”

Do you love to save recipes and home décor ideas online or photos of your favorite fashions or artwork? This class will explore Etsy, Pinterest, Instagram and some of the other top websites and apps for your iPhone (or any Smartphone) to satisfy your creative side.

Are you looking for a new job or career change? Would you like to conelinkedin-imagect with professionals in your field? Whether you are a seasoned professional, recent graduate or someone returning to the workplace… networking is the key to success in business today. LinkedIn is the largest professional online network in the world with over 259 million+ registered users, giving you the opportunity to build relationships with potential employers, customers, clients, and peers. You will develop your online profile, import your contacts, look up old employers and colleagues, search for new contacts and learn how to navigate the site, join groups and apply for jobs online.

images33110- WordPress I: Planning and Launching Your Website
WordPress is a state-of-the-art, free publishing platform, used by over 25 million people to build web and blogging sites.  In this hands-on beginners course, you will plan, build, and launch your own website. You’ll learn how to:  navigate the WordPress dashboard and admin. panel,  create pages and posts, choose your theme (free vs. paid), and organize your content.  Bring your personal email address and password to access your email account and a general idea of the name and content you’d like for your website or blog.  Course materials, handouts, and WiFi internet access are provided.  Bring your own laptop or use our classroom desktop PCs.

images33111- WordPress II: Widgets, Plugins, and Themes
Now that you have built your basic WordPress website, it is time to make it “shine” and add some more functionality. This hands-on intermediate course will cover some of the most commonly used plugins, (DELETE this line:how to find and select  plugins), finalize your  theme (free vs. paid), add more pages and posts, create a photo gallery, add videos and links, how to build your audience and  interact with your followers using social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). In addition,  we will discuss best practices for security, preparing your site for SEO, and backup and recovery plugins.
